The Journey
ESTD 2020
Pure Cleaning Group started with a simple but life-changing moment. After leaving the army, I found myself in a job I didn’t enjoy, working long hours for minimum wage. Life felt stagnant, and I often wondered if things could be different.
One day, while living at home with family, cleaners came to the house. They left an invoice behind, and when I saw it, something clicked. I realized they were earning more than me, and I thought, I can do this—I can do better. With no business experience but plenty of determination, I grabbed a mop, a bucket, and got to work.
My husband, Mitchell, and I took on this challenge together. Starting a business during COVID was far from ideal, and many people told us it wasn’t a good idea. Those early days were tough—long nights, mistakes, and moments of doubt. But we pushed through, learning and growing with each step.
Today, we’ve built something we’re proud of. Pure Cleaning Group completes an average of 70 jobs each week, thanks to our incredible team and loyal clients. Our journey is proof that hard work, persistence, and a leap of faith can lead to something extraordinary.
